Stephen joined Dirtworks after graduating from New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry with a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture and a Minor in Sustainable Construction. His studies included research on green infrastructure tactics in Boston, MA and their potential to mitigate urban flooding, improve the health of urban watersheds, and promote environmental stewardship. Stephen is aiming to use landscape architecture in all its capacity to find practical and imaginative solutions toward deepening our connection to natural systems. He is particularly drawn to adaptive design measures for coastal cities in the age of climate change. Stephen brings a diverse skillset to Dirtworks including technical documentation, advanced graphics and visualization techniques, and experience in the construction and estimation field including extensive work on large-scale projects in New York City.
