Landscape Architect

Mark Tepper, has experience in large scale master planning, public and private Housing developments and large scale restoration projects. Mark’s work on corporate and institutional campuses involves working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex site constraints.

Mark joined the Dirtworks team after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, with honors from The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). Mark completed two theses while studying at ESF. His work included how humans occupy space in the Scottish landscape, which resulted in a published work that is currently housed at the ESF library. His second Honors thesis included a master plan for the 23-acre Wolf Preserve located on Eastern Long Island. The preserve incorporates a two mile trail which targets the five senses through five unique nodes. The design is both inviting and easily accessible to all including individuals who are physically and neurologically challenged. Mark is also the recipient of the Upstate ASLA chapter distinguished student award for the year 2017.
