Amy Foster, LEED AP

Amy Foster, Landscape Designer, brings her broad experience in landscape design, sustainable design and a background in international studies to Dirtworks, PC. Ms. Foster joined Dirtworks after graduating with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University. Her graphical visualizations, research, and critical analysis have contributed to the firm’s design processes.

Ms. Foster is responsible for project coordination, preliminary design, and design development. Her functional knowledge of plants and plant materials provide Dirtworks with resources to build a design that is responsive to the requirements of the project. She is part of the team working on the Els Center of Excellence Sensory Garden. The sensory garden will be both therapeutic and educational for children and adults, especially for those with sensory processing challenges, by providing a meaningful experience through the exploration of nature.

Amy Foster has recently earned the LEED green associate certification from the Green Building Certification Institution (GBCI). This designation distinguishes building professionals who possess the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED Certification process.
