The project aims to extend the social-therapeutic model to address the needs of the frail in an integrated mutually supportive setting. Each building site has a unique program, sense of community, and connection to the land. Land form and built form merge as one expression, minimizing disturbance to the land and linking the development to the natural watershed, vegetative patterns and wind flow. Sustainable technologies and a program of biodynamic agriculture foster a sense of connectedness to the natural environment.
